Program Overview
Unexpected DNA discoveries can evoke profound emotional, relational, and identity challenges for healthcare providers who must navigate the unique complexity of the deeply personal impacts while serving as caregivers. This 6-week virtual support program is designed to help licensed healthcare professionals process these experiences and progress toward healing, clarity, and professional integration.
Whether your discovery involves:
Not-Parent Expected (NPE)

What you will gain
This program offers a safe and confidential space exclusively for healthcare professionals to explore their story and begin rebuilding their sense of self while managing professional responsibilities.
This 6-week virtual support program is exclusively designed for licensed healthcare professionals, including mental health counselors (LCSW, LMFT, psychologists, psychiatrists, medical providers (physicians, nurses, PAs), and genetic counselors who need a safe, confidential space to process their own genetic discovery experiences alongside peers who truly understand the unique challenges we face.
Whether you're navigating your own DNA discoveries or seeking consultation (having experienced a DNA discovery) to support individuals in similar situations in your practice, this small group (with a maximum of 8 participants) meets weekly via Zoom for 90 minutes, offering structured peer support, professional consultation, resource sharing, and practical navigation strategies without clinical treatment or therapy.
